Sanctity of Life Sunday
I generally steer clear of politics, preferring instead to make our blog more devotional in nature. However, on this "Sanctity of Life Sunday" I must take issue with the current president and those who join his stance on abortion. (Click Here For Story) Abortion is no more a "private family matter" than any other type of murder and it must be stopped! Today let us pray for an end to the holocaust in this country. Twenty percent of all pregnancies in the United States now end in abortion.

ReplyDeleteHow ironic...what about the sons and daughters who are stripped of their right to live? :(
I volunteered at a pregnancy center for a year or so, so I'm really passionate about this. At the center, it made me so sad to see how many women didn't understand what an abortion really was! They saw it as a solution to the scary situation they were in, but they needed to be educated about other solutions that allowed their babies to live. Some of them just don't know there are other ways that are best for both the mother and baby. I wish they all understood before making a decision that they will no doubt regret later in life. :(
I know...when you take a look at that baby sucking his thumb when only 16 weeks or so old it sure puts a new perspective on things!
