Priorities. Do you have your priorities right? The dictionary defines the word "priority" as "highest or higher in importance, rank or privilege." What is taking the place of highest priority in your life? Perhaps the greatest indicator of what is given priority in our life is the amount of time we spend thinking about something. How much time in a normal day do you spend thinking about Christ? Certainly God should be at the top of our list of priorities! Is He really at the top or has He been relegated to a lower rung on the ladder?
Jesus said, "Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added unto you." The "things" in this scripture are all those items which typically usurp God's place of priority in our life; the pursuit of money, necessities and contentment. We can trust God enough to put Him first and He will take care of the rest!
